Congratulations to our Synthetex team at our Toccoa, GA facility for achieving the PEAS (NTPEP) approval. With this milestone, we are excited to begin supplying “made in America” GeoStrap® directly from within the United States—enhancing the efficiency of our GeoMega® and GeoTrel™ MSE retaining wall solutions while continuing to leverage our global supply network.
GeoStrap has been used in our MSE wall solutions in more than 40 states across the country. It’s particularly beneficial on project sites with corrosive soil conditions, and when a fast temporary wire-faced wall solution is needed. The 2-inch wide GeoStrap consists of high tenacity polyester fibers (HTPET) encased in a polyethylene sheath. The high tenacity polyester is the load-bearing element, while the sheath aides in protecting the yarns from potential installation damage and degradation. Notable projects include Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV, Los Vaqueros Reservoir Expansion in Livermore, CA, and Point Defiance Waterfront in Tacoma, WA.
